i always have all these little thoughts and anecdotes as the day goes by that i want to post but by the time i get a round to it (i still have never gotten a "round tuit" although my old violin teacher had one on a bulletin board) i forget.

so, i just checked my recent direct deposit into my savings account online, and i noticed it was lower than usual, so i checked my paycheck on the hr system: they've started deducting some extra NYC tax since i moved to brooklyn (i don't even remember telling them i had moved) of $30+ :( boo :( i wonder what that goes towards...
